I've been thinking a lot about 2012 lately... what worked, and what didn't.

I'll be honest- I'm one to dwell in the past if I'm not careful. Yet I've been flipping that around lately and using it for good... focusing on what worked, and what didn't, and making goals and changes to 2013 based on the results of those two questions. I'm a goal-setter, a planner, a thinker, and a dreamer... so this works for me. I love planning out 2013 and thinking about what's ahead a fresh, new twelve months! So, on this 24th of January, 2013, I thought I'd share a few of those goals with you. Feel free to share with me some of your goals for the year too- let's enocurage eachother and work towards accomplishing big things and making important things happen this year! Here are my goals:

2013 goals
Budget monthly, purposefully, with boundaries and expanded giving, and set up emergency fund with the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace Plan.
Exercise hard and more positively four times per week.
Read two books per month: one to provide relaxation and one to grow me.
Take Angel for a walk weekly in order to to spend more time outside.
Live and work in spaces purposefully maintained, organized and decorated to be welcoming and motivating.
Learn to like salad. (Don't make fun of me!)
Eat with healthier mindset, focusing on what's good for my body instead of what I want in the moment.
Mentor one person for twelve months.
Go on a missions trip with my home church.
Begin putting money aside for a car.
Shoot at least one wedding alone. (Psst! This is in the works! So thrilled.)
Purchase a professional camera.
Spend time in Scripture daily.
Lead worship more fully and with more skill.
Write more handwritten notes.
Journal regularly.
Make my bed daily.
Pay it forward at least once!
Travel to at least one new destination and enjoy time in old favorites.
Bake more frequently.
Give away old, unnecessary things that contribute to unwanted mental clutter.
Spend time biking more often.
Grow something on my own.

I'm very visual, so to help me accoomplish these goals, I created a 2013 board on Pinterest. Click below to view it and work with me to make this year, 2013, great.

Much love!
