Over my little blogging- break, I was refreshed. Inspired. And instead of pushing myself to take pictures just for the sake of having blogging material, I did it because I love it... and because I wanted to. And I have found that then, only then, do I get my best work.

I was inspired to work with Scrabble letters... these have to be one of my favorite things ever

So, that's what I did. I absorbed inspiration, then using my camera, captured what I could see differently. And the results? I don't know, but I like them. It's like a suncatcher... these little pieces of glass, curved and cut perfectly by their maker, reflect the sunshine that's given to them, but they don't keep it to themselves. They reflect it.... and after catching the sun, they throw it back at the wall, and what do you see?

A rainbow.

And isn't that what we're supposed to do? Isn't that the best kind of life? I think so.

And speaking of rainbows, we dyed Easter eggs the other day, and I couldn't resist the neat rows of vividly colored eggs sitting on the counter. Green and red stained fingers are worth it when you get this, people.

Also over my break, I went on a little road trip. In the rain... even better, right? I love a good shower or two...

Maybe I love the rain so much because of what happens after it: new life. And it showed up, for sure.

What have you been up to lately?
