meet and greet monday's: this life is sweet

It' s a Monday. And do I have a treat for you today.

Today, we have a sweet guest post from Angel Perry of This Life is Sweet.  I cannot wait for you to see this! She is going to show you, my friends, how to make fabric rosettes.

Now I'll hand it over to her for this sweet DIY project!

Fabric Rosette Tutorial

Here are the supplies you need:

- Strips of fabric ranging from 2~5+ inches wide & 20~30+ inches long {depending on the desired size of your rosette}.
- A hot glue gun.
- Felt circles for your rosette's foundation. I cut 1 in+ circles.

{Step 1} Tie a knot on one end of your fabric.

{Step 2} Glue the knot to the center of your felt circle.

{Step 3} Outline a small strip of hot glue along the bottom of your felt strip.

{Step 4} While lightly applying pressure with your finger, start twisting the fabric over. I like to add glue each time I twist. It took me a good ten minutes the first time I made one of these. The more you make the quicker it gets =) Play with your twisting techniques; see what you can come up with!

This is an example of the final product. You can do SO many things with rosettes. I embellish them on everything from wreaths to headbands to picture frames. I adore them =)

This was my very first tutorial so bare with me!
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
