thoughts of spring blog party!

PhotobucketI'm seriously SO excited for this. The sweet Lynnette Kraft is hosting a spring blog party.

So! For starters, I'm just a girl whose heart belongs to Jesus, and who lives every moment, every stitch in time {hence the name of my blog}, to the glory of God. I have a passion for photography, music, art, the orphans of the world, my family & friends, and many other things. I love life, and love to laugh. A good book is a good friend. But for some random things about me? Here you go- I have a couple questions to answer! :)

 ...
Do you have a strong desire to do something you’ve never done? What is it?
 ...

Yes. I really want to go to Africa... I have a heart for orphans. I definitely want to go to an orphanage and love on the unloved.

...
What’s something you consider yourself to be good at? (Don’t worry, it’s not bragging, it’s acknowledging a God given gift).
...

Hmmm, that's a hard one. I feel like photography really comes naturally to me... and so do musical things.

...
Who is your favorite blogger? Why?
...

That's a hard one... I don't have just one! But my Places to Go, People to See page gives a rough idea of some favorites. I love blogging because I love looking at life through someone else's eyes, and seeing things the way someone else sees them.

...
What is your greatest fear or strange phobia?
...

Snakes. I hate, abhor, despise, and get freaked out by them. Ick.

...
Are you a hopeless romantic?
...

Um, YES. I am. :)

me.
...
What is one of your favorite things to catch a whiff of?
...

Pretty much anything vanilla scented is something I'd buy in a heartbeat. Mmm.

...
Be brave – tell us something very random and weird about yourself.
...

I once had a pet duck named Squirt. That's about all I can think of at the moment!

...
How would people describe your personality? (If they could only use ONE word.) Are they right?
...

This was the hardest question! But I asked my mom about this one... and I told her the word I'd thought of. She had the same one in mind: passionate. That's accurate, for sure.

...
What is your comfort food/drink?
...

For food, it's ice cream. For drink, it's a Starbucks frappuccino, hands down.

...
If money wasn’t a factor, what stores would you shop in?
...

I'd buy items NOT on sale at Hollister. Ha! They're way to expensive! And places like North Face and designer stores.

I'd love it if my readers decided to join in on the fun! Click on the super sweet button in the top right of this post to get started. Have a fantastic Tuesday!

  5. I'd say you are a natural at photography too and I've just only taken a peek at a few of your photos! A friend of mine went to Swaziland and he said it changed his life. He shared how the children had no shoes and there were so many living perils that they could step on. His mission group took gobs of shoes with them. They washed each child's feet and then gave them a pair of shoes. He said the gratitude in their eyes was overwhelming. It was one of the best parts of his visit there. I love that you have a heart for the children of Africa. I love me some Starbucks frappuccinos too! Oh yeah, that's what I'm talkin' 'bout. Thank you so much for sharing. It was nice to meet you, virtually speaking.

  9. Hi there! I love your blog!! I did get to go to Africa a few years ago...I didn't get to hold any orphans, but I did get to love on some "street kids" {who are really young adults} and encourage several missionary families who serve there - it was a memory of a lifetime. I hope you get to go some day! I think its great you're partying with us :) Have a great weekend. Lisa

  10. Seriously, how old are you? You seem like such a wonderful young lady with deep insights at an early age. I can only hope I do a good job raising my daughter so she turns out to be the same. She's only five months old so I have some time yet to figure it out...

  11. I really enjoy photography. You have some great photos on here! And I also have that passion in my heart for orphans. I spent a year volunteering at an Orphanage. It completely changed my life, it was an incredible experience.

  12. Ah, we sound much alike! Starbucks, passion, music, photography, vanilla... yes, I get you. :)

I took my sweet time popping by didn't I? ha! I'm trying to get to everybody, but with 231 people linking up... well, it's taking me a bit.

    Thanks for the invite!
    Have a great week!
