a bunch of blog-hops

Why, hello. I'm back!! With more photos. What a surprise. ;)

I'm doing a bunch of blog-hops today, just for fun. Check out all the other great entries by clicking on each of the buttons!

You Capture's theme is "doorways" this week. I shot this one earlier this morning.

Before...

and after. I didn't have a ton of time to edit this, so I just did on Windows Live Photo Gallery, rather than Photoshop. I changed the contrast, brightness, highlights, shadows, hmmm... what else? Ah. Also the color, saturation, tint, etc. I used my Nikon Coolpix S210.

I'm so thankful for my Angel... she's such a sweetheart! Usually she doesn't like getting her picutre taken. So I guess I'm also thankful I have this photo of her actually looking at the camera. :)

I learned about changing the shadow and highlight levels this week. It can make such a difference in a photo!

That's all for now!

  2. Love your doorway shot (I'm visiting from You Capture), but I'm in love with that "explore" photo! Beautiful!! The wood pile is equally cool - nice captures all around!

  3. Very cool. Great idea to use the scrabble letters and props to create a photo.
