something heavy...

I've had something that is heavy on my heart lately. That's the orphan crisis. My heart ACHES for those who just long to be loved, cherished, wanted... it just hurts me to think that they feel this way. That they even have to. I just want to tell them, to show them, that they're loved and cherished by our Father. I want them to all have loving, caring, supportive homes where people show the love of God to them!! My heart just aches for them. I've been on my knees for these children a lot lately. My parents and family have always shown me the unconditional love that I long for every child to know, taking my hand and cherishing every dream and moment we share together. I want every child out there to have this too. I love and pray for these kids, even though I've not met any of them. I hope they know that our God loves them like no earthly parent ever could, though they long for a family more than anything at the moment. Please be praying for these kids with me... and help me advocate for their cause, because WE KNOW that OUR GOD, our GRACIOUS and LOVING GOD, sets the lonely in families.

Psalm 68:6 God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.

Psalm 82:2-43 “How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked? Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the week and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

John 14:18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. SHARE THIS POST
